Leeds Rhinos prop Ryan Bailey has signed a new two-year contract with the Super League club.

Bailey told the club website:, external "This was a big decision for me and something that I had to think hard about.

"Leeds Rhinos are my second family and I'm probably happier and more settled now than I've been at any other time."

The England international, currently out with a thumb injury, has made 215 league appearances for the Rhinos.

Leeds coach Brian McDermott added: "As someone who has come through our academy system, he is a player that our youngsters can look towards and see that the rewards are there for you if you work hard."
