Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and England prop Nick Scruton has signed a two-year contract extension.

The 29-year-old joined the Wildcats from Bradford Bulls on a one-year deal in March and has made 16 appearances for James Webster's side.

He told the club website: "I'm chuffed to bits to have another two years and hopefully we can move forward.

"The top eight over the next couple of years is a big incentive. It's where everyone wants to be."
