Wayne Godwin: Salford sign Dewsbury hooker on loan

Wayne Godwin made 52 appearances for Salford over his three-year stint

Salford have re-signed hooker Wayne Godwin on a one-month loan from Championship side Dewsbury.

The 33-year-old spent three years at the Red Devils between 2011 and 2014 before his move to Dewsbury.

He joins a Salford squad down to just 17 players for the Challenge Cup fifth-round tie at Leigh because of injuries and suspensions.

The former Castleford, Wigan, Hull and Bradford forward is available to face Centurions on Saturday.
