Nottingham winger Rhys Crane is set to be sidelined for two months after breaking his jaw on his debut.

The 26-year-old was injured just a minute into the 34-22 win at Esher last Friday, external - his first game back after 19 months out.

Nottingham recovered from that early setback to secure a third consecutive win in the Championship and are now sixth in the table.

The Green & Whites play London Welsh at Meadow Lane on Friday.

And Nottingham director of rugby Glenn Delaney is impressed with his side's form going into the game.

"We are in good shape," he said. "I've been pleased with our performances in the last three matches, particularly from an attacking point of view.

"Our combinations are really coming together and we have been scoring some well created tries."
