Leicester Tigers in talks with wing Vereniki Goneva

Leicester Tigers are in talks to sign Fijian wing Vereniki Goneva from French club Tarbes.

The 27-year-old has won 20 caps for Fiji's national side and was a member of their 2011 World Cup squad.

Leicester director of rugby Richard Cockerill confirmed: "Vereniki is one player we are looking at the moment, among lots of others.

"Until it is signed and done there is nothing more to say. There is always lots of speculation."
