Bedford Blues seal deal for James Stephenson

Bedford Blues have continued their preparations for next season's Championship campaign with the signing of Blackheath winger James Stephenson.

The 22-year-old scored 19 tries in Division One last season.

"We are always eager to add quality to the Bedford squad and James has plenty of it," said Blues boss Mike Rayer.

"We have been very impressed by his performances for Blackheath and think he can make a major impact at Championship level."
