Championship: Plymouth Albion 27-22 Doncaster Knights

Plymouth Albion got their Championship campaign off to a winning start with a hard-fought victory at home over Doncaster Knights.

Tom Bowen and Canada international Brett Beukeboom both scored tries on their debuts after Sam Hocking went over early on.

Paul Roberts kicked all three conversions but also missed three penalties.

Knights hit back through tries from Michael Keating and Jethro Rawling.
