Mark Allen beaten by Stuart Bingham in Australian Open

Mark Allen beat Ryan Day and Marcus Campbell in the opening rounds

Mark Allen is out of the Australian Open after suffering a 5-3 defeat to Stuart Bingham in Friday's quarter-final game in Bendigo.

The Antrim man questioned Bingham's "bottle" before the game as the feud between the two players continued.

Allen took a 2-1 lead thanks to breaks of 45 and 65 but Bingham hit back by winning the next three frames.

Allen pulled one back before Bingham sealed a place in the semis with a composed break of 96.
