A limited number of exclusive hospitality tables have been made available for groups of two people or more to experience the BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2014.

The star-studded event, now in its 61st year, will take place in Glasgow at the SSE Hydro on Sunday 14 December, following a memorable Commonwealth Games in the city this summer.

A hospitality package for the show, which closes the sporting year, is the perfect way to experience this prestigious event - whether you're enjoying the event with friends, entertaining clients or treating staff and colleagues.

VIP Hospitality package at £499 plus VAT per person includes:

•Drinks reception on arrival

•BBC host welcome with special guests panel

•Three course dinner with selected wines, beer and soft drinks, followed by tea and coffee

•Premium seating for the live show

•Access to the VIP post show event with complimentary canapés and drinks

•Souvenir BBC Sports Personality of the Year brochure for each guest

•Exclusive discounted room rates for local hotels

•Complimentary coach transfers to / from the venue and appointed BBC hotels

The hospitality package starts with a drinks reception at 15:30 GMT, the post show event ending at 01:30 GMT.

Private tables are available for groups of 10 guests, with shared tables for smaller parties. Unfortunately, VIP Hospitality cannot accommodate children under the age of 18 years.

To coincide with Glasgow hosting the 2014 Commonwealth Games, BBC Sports Personality of the Year will make its debut in Scotland, at the SSE Hydro, Glasgow on Sunday 14th December.

The annual end-of-year event will reflect the full range of the year's sporting achievements and performances; presented by Gary Lineker, Clare Balding and Gabby Logan. BBC Sport anticipates that the major medallists, athletes, stars and personalities will be attending.
