Wimbledon 2011: Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins make doubles quarter-finals

British pair Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins advanced to the quarter-finals of the Wimbledon men's doubles with a straight-sets victory.

The duo overcame Australians Ashley Fisher and Stephen Huss 6-3 6-4 6-2 in an hour and 49 minutes.

Both Fleming and Hutchins were assured at the net and, after they wasted two match points in the final game, Huss found the net to seal their win.

They will meet unseeded Christopher Kas and Alexander Peya in the last eight.

Scotland's Fleming and Londoner Hutchins will fancy their chances of going further with world number one pair Bob and Mike Bryan the only one of the top-five seeds remaining in the competition.

All other doubles matches including British players were called off because of the heavy rain which hit the All England Club.

Despite their progress at the championships, Fleming and Hutchins will not represent Great Britain in the Davis Cup match against Luxembourg which begins on 8 July.

Instead Fleming will play alongside Jamie Murray, who was eliminated along with partner Serghiy Stakhovsky in the second round, at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow.
