Tottenham are worried that Real Madrid's attempts to sign forward Gareth Bale, 24, are unsettling him.
Midfielder Thiago Alcantara, 22, almost signed for Manchester United before he joined Bayern Munich from Barcelona, according to his father Mazinho.
Valencia will not let defender Adil Rami, 27, leave for anything less than £7.75m. The Frenchman is wanted by both Manchester City and Arsenal.
