Arsenal are considering making a bid for West Ham defender Winston Reid, 25, in January with manager Arsene Wenger having followed the centre-back's progress over the last 18 months.
Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe has been offered a £5m-a-year deal by Toronto FC in an attempt to lure the 31-year-old England forward to the MLS, but they face competition from QPR.
