TRANSFER GOSSIP
Tottenham are hoping to sign Ajax's highly-rated 22-year-old Netherlands central defender Joel Veltman this summer.
Aston Villa and Bournemouth are looking at 16-year-old midfielder Josh Hanratty, who is playing for Christchurch in the Wessex League Premier Division.
Brentford boss Mark Warburton has earmarked a replacement for former loan striker Chuba Akpom, 18, and hopes to make a signing in the next seven days.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has reportedly met Mario Balotelli's agent as he weighs up a summer move for the 23-year-old AC Milan striker.
Porto midfielder Fernando will move to the Premier League in the summer, according to his agent. Manchester City tried to sign the 26-year-old on transfer deadline day but Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested.

Tottenham and Aston Villa are the latest sides to express an interest in Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen, 20, a Netherlands Under-21 international who has also been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea.
Schalke have confirmed the £37m release clause in 20-year-old Arsenal target Julian Draxler's contract will still be active if anyone wants to sign the midfielder in the summer.

West Ham are among three clubs interested in Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom. The 24-year-old right-back is currently on loan at Greek side Platanias, having been frozen out by FC Dnipro manager Juande Ramos. Lyon and Werder Bremen have also monitored him.

Manchester United boss David Moyes is considering an approach for Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen and midfielder Mousa Dembele, both 26.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, 27, is "scared" of picking up an injury which rules him out of this summer's World Cup.
Meanwhile, Suarez says he has no regrets over his 2011 race row with Manchester United defender Patrice Evra, which led to an eight-match suspension, and describes the incident as "all false".
