Manchester United have begun a complex £100m deal to sign Real Madrid's 25-year-old midfielder Gareth Bale - with David de Gea, 24, heading to the Bernabeu. (Sunday People), external

Despite criticism of hosts Equatorial Guinea's infrastructure, the Guinea Equatorial Press celebrates that the country fulfilled its commitment to host the event with only 50 days of preparation. (www.guineaecuatorialpress.com), external (In French).
