Bayern Munich pair Pepe Reina and Xabi Alonso enjoyed watching Friday's solar eclipse with the use of some special glasses. Goalkeeper Reina posted a picture of himself and midfielder Alonso on his twitter, external page, with the message "What a pair of 'smileys' but beautiful eclipse!".
Liverpool's players also could not resist wearing the special glasses to look at the eclipse and the club tweeted, external pictures of midfielders Lucas and Lazar Markovic along with defenders Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho looking skywards.
Barcelona forward Neymar has been preparing for Sunday's El Clasico with Real Madrid by doing an impressive selection of freestyle tricks and flicks while wearing just his underpants. The Brazil international posted a video on his Instagram, external going through a routine.
