Manchester United defender Chris Smalling has been enjoying his holidays in Peru, where he has visited the world famous Machu Picchu and posted pictures on Instagram.

Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair has announced on Instagram that he has become a father after his girlfriend and former soap star Helen Flanagan gave birth to a daughter.

Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe showed off his musical side, playing the guitar at an open mic night and posted a picture on Instagram.

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has been swimming with dolphins in Dubai and posted a video of his encounter on Facebook.

Striker Bafetimbi Gomis has posted a picture on Instagram from the first day of pre-season training at Swansea with his team-mates including new signing Andre Ayew. He wrote: "The preparation for the season has already begun, welcome to my new French team-mates, we all hope that all together we will do something great this year."
