Michael Bisping secured his UFC middleweight title in June

Michael Bisping has confirmed he will defend his Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight title against Dan Henderson at UFC 204.

Speaking on his Sirius XM radio show, the 37-year-old said the fight against the American will take place in Manchester on 8 October.

Henderson, 45, defeated Bisping at UFC 100 with a second-round knockout.

Bisping became the first Briton to win a UFC title in June with a first-round knockout of Luke Rockhold at UFC 199.
