Guernsey's Hannah Brehaut won women's time trial gold at the 2023 Island Games, beating Jersey's Flo Thomas by almost 33 seconds.
Brehaut's performance also helped the hosts win team gold alongside team-mates Jamie-Lee Wright, Helena Duguid, Danielle Hanley and Karina Jackson.
Brehaut's gold came 20 years on from her father Paul winning silver for Guernsey in the same event.
Katie Silva and Chloe Watson Hill helped Jersey win team bronze.
"I'm over the moon," Brehaut told BBC Channel Islands.
"It was quite a big goal coming into the week, so to be able to pull it off I'm really happy.
"Team gold is even better to be honest, to be able to stand there on the top step with all the girls that I race and train with is a really nice bonus."
Team and individual silver for Guernsey men
In the men's time trial Guernsey's Sam Culverwell won a silver medal finishing more than 1:06 behind Isle of Wight's Kevin Chant.
John Pallot won a bronze for Jersey finishing 19 seconds behind Culverwell and just under 10 seconds ahead of teammate Jack Rebours.
Culverwell's performance, alongside that of teammates Marc Cox, Matthew Osborn, Jack Reed and Alex Van Katwyk earned the Sarnians men's team silver behind the Isle of Wight - an upgrade on the bronze they won four years ago.
Pallot helped Jersey's team come third to add to his individual bronze for Jersey and was joined on the podium by Rebours, Ollie Cadin, Zack Hamon and Dean Robson.
"I'm really happy with a silver medal," Culverwell told BBC Channel Islands.
"Coming in to today I was aiming for a top five place and to contribute towards a team medal, so to come away with second place is really special, especially in a home games."
Shooting gold for Guernsey and Jersey
Meanwhile there was further Guernsey gold on the shooting range as Ollie Hudson and Nicholas Kerins won the Fullbore Kings Pairs title.
They beat Jersey duo Michael Cotillard and Matt Neal by more than 17 points to lift the title as Christian Berntsen and Mark Dodd of the Falkland Islands took bronze.
Guernsey also won silver in the Men's 10m Air Pistol team event thanks to Paul Guillou and Jack Hanca and the Sport Trap team, where Ross Angus, Clifford Eborall and John Wild lost out to the Isle of Wight, while Jersey's Iain Barette, David Le Rendu and Greg Sanderson won the bronze medal.
There was further Sarnian success with Andrew Torode winning the NPA Service Pistol B title while Jersey took team gold.
Home shooters Tara Leighton-Dyson and Nikki Trebert also won gold in the 10m women's air pistol team event while Guernsey's Janet Vining won bronze in the women's Sport Trap individual event.
