- Published
Denver Broncos will face Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl after both teams won their respective championship games.
Denver quarterback Peyton Manning inspired the Broncos to a 26-16 victory against New England Patriots, reaching their first Super Bowl in 15 years.
Seattle came back from 10-0 down to beat San Francisco 49ers 23-17 to get to their second ever Super Bowl.
They will meet at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on 2 February.
Manning, 37, a Super Bowl winner with Indianapolis Colts in 2006, threw for 400 yards and two touchdowns as Denver won the AFC Championship game.
Seattle were 17-10 behind in the third quarter but scored 13 unanswered points, including Jermaine Kearse's fourth-quarter touchdown to win the NFC match.
The Seahawks have never won the Super Bowl, with Denver taking back-to-back championships in 1997 and 1998.
