The Match of the Day panel praised Luton's competitiveness after securing their first home win of the season on Saturday against Crystal Palace.
Gary Lineker said: "It's a huge three points for Luton, first home win. Rob Edwards mentioned fight, determination, desire and quality. Those characteristics were very evident.
"Yeah they were," added Ian Wright.
"They look like a team to me who are getting to grips with the Premier League. When you look at the first couple of games of the season - the Brighton and Chelsea games - they were 4-1 and 3-0 but after that you have to go down to the Aston Villa game before they lost by two or more goals again.
"They're very competitive and I thought they were again against Palace. They're putting in a real shift and I'm delighted for them."
