Armagh ladies boss Greg McGonigle has stepped down after one season in charge with Darnell Parkinson and Joe Feeney set to lead the team in 2025.

Former Dublin and Monaghan boss McGonigle was appointed ahead of the 2024 campaign as Shane McCormack's successor.

The Derry native led Armagh to their first Division One title before clinching provincial success in the Ulster Championship, beating Donegal in the final.

McGonigle also led Armagh to the All-Ireland semi-finals, where they lost to Kerry.

"On behalf of the Armagh LGFA, we extend our sincere thanks to Greg McGonigle for his contribution to our senior team for the 2024 season," said Armagh LGFA.

"Winning the Division 1 NFL for the first time in our history and a return of the Ulster senior title, the management team of 2024 brought great joy to Armagh Ladies supporters all over the county.

"We wish Greg all the best in his future endeavours."

McGonigle's successors have both represented Armagh in the past and were both part of his coaching ticket during the 2024 campaign.
