David Weir and Dan Greaves are among 23 para-athletes who have been named in the final British athletics team for Paris 2024.

It comes after 10 athletes, including seven-time Paralympic champion Hannah Cockroft, were picked in the first wave of selection in June.

Wheelchair athlete Weir, 45, and discus thrower Greaves, 41, will be competing at their seventh Paralympic Games.

Greaves has won a medal at every Paralympics that he has competed in, while Weir has been unable to claim a place on the podium since he won four golds at London 2012.

The Paralympics begin in the French capital on 28 August.

"To be selected to represent ParalympicsGB on the ultimate stage, the Paralympic Games is such a huge honour," Greaves said.

"I got the exact same feelings as I did back in 2000 when I was selected for my first Games."

Two-time Paralympic champion Jonnie Peacock has also been named in the latest squad and will compete in the T64 100m and the universal 4x100m relay, while reigning champions Sophie Hahn and Thomas Young have been called-up for the T38 100m.

The squad also includes seven athletes who will make their Paralympic debut in Paris, including Boston Marathon winner Eden Rainbow-Cooper.

ParalympicsGB Chef de Mission for Paris 2024 Penny Briscoe said: "Every Para athlete in this squad has shown terrific talent and determination to secure their place on the ParalympicsGB team for Paris 2024.

"I am so proud to welcome such a superb mix of experienced Paralympians alongside those for whom Paris 2024 will be their first Games."
