Glentoran remain two points clear at the top of the Women's Premiership table following a narrow 1-0 win against Larne at the Blanchflower Stadium.

Hot on their heels are second place Linfield, who produced a clinical display in a 5-1 home win against Derry City.

Champions Cliftonville stayed in the title race with a hard-fought 2-1 north Belfast derby win over Crusaders.

Lisburn Rangers edged rivals Lisburn Ladies 1-0 at the Bluebell Stadium in the other Friday night fixture.

It was a tight game in east Belfast, with bottom side Larne frustrating the league leaders until Nadene Caldwell scored what proved to be the winner early in the second half.

At Midgley Park, Eve Reilly scored a quickfire double for the Blues before Tara O'Connor pulled one back for Derry.

Zoe Glynn then restored Linfield's two-goal advantage before half-time.

Rebecca Bassett and Cora Chambers added late goals to round off the victory.

At Solitude, captain Caitlin McGuinness netted the opener for the Reds after nine minutes with her 100th goal for the club.

Naiomi McLaughlin added a second just after the hour mark, but Alison McMaster pulled a goal back for Crusaders on 74 minutes to set up a tense finale.

The Reds managed to hold on for a crucial win, which moves them six points behind the Blues with two games in hand.
