Nketiah misses out on England spot

Aaron Ramsdale has earned an England call-up despite losing his place as Arsenal's number-one goalkeeper.

Gareth Southgate's squad announcement for two upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers also sees Eddie Nketiah fall out of the squad following an injury.

However, fellow team-mates Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka will make England appearances.

Southgate said: "You would be amazed at how complicated it is picking a squad.

"Eddie's progressing really well as a young player and we've enjoyed working with him. We wanted to include him as a young player to have a look at. He's an excellent finisher."
