Antrim hurling legend Neil McManus has joined Davy Fitzgerald's Saffrons backroom team ahead of the 2025 season.

McManus, who retired from inter-county hurling duty in July 2023, has been confirmed on Fitzgerald's ticket as sports performance coach.

Fitzgerald has also added former Kerry coach Pat Bennett, former Antrim hurler and McManus' Cushendall club-mate Arron Graffin and ex-Antrim U20 boss Paudie Shivers to his coaching set-up.

Former former Clare, Wexford, and Waterford boss Fitzgerald was confirmed as Antrim boss on a two-year term, replacing Darren Gleeson, earlier this month.

Fitzgerald won two All-Ireland titles as a player with Clare before leading the Banner to another as manager in 2013.
