Kingussie stormed back to an 8-1 victory after conceding early away to Glenurquhart in the first round of the Macaulay Cup.
Meanwhile, Kinlochshiel maintained their local derby hold over Skye with a 4-0 success as Lovat edged through 2-1 at Newtonmore.
Lochaber eliminated Caberfeidh 4-2, while lower-league Col Glen made Kyles work hard for their 4-2 victory.
On Friday night, holders Oban Camanachd progressed to the quarter-finals with a straightforward 4-0 derby defeat of Oban Celtic.
It was Andrew Corrigan who scored for Glenurquhart before Kingussie’s overwhelming response saw Dylan Borthwick grab five, Savio Genini two and Ruaridh Anderson a single.
Keith MacRae got a hat-trick, bracketing a goal from John MacRae, as Kinlochshiel added progress in the cup to their 5-0 league victory over their local rivals in March.
Caberfeidh’s Connor Golabek and Blair Morrison scored the first and last goals of the game at Strathpeffer. However, in between, Stuart Callison, Shaun Nicholson and a Ben Delaney double, which included a penalty, saw Lochaber through.
Following a goalless first half at The Eilan, Graeme MacMillan gave Lovat the lead and Struan Ross equalised with a penalty in advance of Calum MacAulay’s late winner for Lovat.
A James Pringle double helped Kyles avoid an upset away to a Col Glen side who briefly led 2-1.
Elsewhere, two from Iain MacDonald helped Bute through 4-0 at Aberdour, Glasgow Mid Argyll edged Inveraray 4-3 on penalties after a 4-4, and doubles from Malcolm Clark and Daniel MacVicar secured holders Oban Camanachd’s progress.
Beauly won the day’s only National Division match 4-1 at Kilmallie.
