Hibernian are still hoping a deal can be struck with Birmingham City for striker Lyndon Dykes however there is also interest from Aberdeen and at least two English Championship clubs in the Scotland striker.
Dykes is part of Steve Clarke's squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers away to Denmark and Belarus.
One player who now looks destined to remain at Hibs after the window closes this evening is Elie Youan.
The winger was left out of the matchday squad against St Mirren on Sunday with a deal to Hibs' European conquerors Legia Warsaw almost concluded.
However the deal collapsed earlier today and as things stand he will remain at Easter Road with a year left on his contract.
