Jephcott leaves Saints for Newport County

Luke Jephcott has left St Johnstone to sign for League Two side Newport County on a free transfer.

The Welsh striker only signed for the Perth side in the summer having been released by Plymouth Argyle, but is now returning to his homeland.

The 23-year-old made 11 appearances during his time at St Johnstone without finding the back of the net.
