Chambers storms to 100m glory in Norway (UK only)

Welsh 400m hurdler Dai Greene will captain the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team at this month's European Team Championships in Stockholm.

Greene is one of three European gold medallists to be selected along with 110m hurdles champion Andy Turner and triple jumper Phillips Idowu.

Dwain Chambers competes in the 100m, having run 10.01 seconds this season, and Danny Talbot lines up in the 200m.

Helen Clitheroe will race over 5,000m and Jenny Meadows will go in the 800m.

Perri Shakes-Drayton, who clocked a season-opener of 55.36 seconds in the 400m hurdles at the Diamond League meeting in Eugene on Saturday, will also be in action at the meet, which takes place on 18-19 June.

Chambers, Turner and Greene all won their respective races in last year's meet, external as the British team finished second behind Russia.
