Twell earns surprise 1500m bronze
Stephanie Twell, external will return to action in December following a nine-month absence due to a broken ankle.
Twell, who fractured her ankle in a cross country race in February,, external is part of the Great Britain squad for the European Cross Country Championships, external
The Commonwealth 1500m bronze medallist will race in the Under-23 competition in Slovenia on 11 December.
"We're delighted to have Twell back after a rough year," said British team boss Ian Stewart.
"She's got great cross country pedigree and her experience will be hugely valuable to the girls."
The men's senior team, who failed to finish on the podium last year, includes former British 1500m number one Andrew Baddeley, external and Andy Vernon., external
Hattie Dean will be in action for the women's team as they look to better their team silver medal from 2010.
Stewart said: "We're pleased to be naming our strongest available teams. We believe that gives us a great chance of winning a clean sweep of medals in this event, as we did in 2008 and 2009."
