Zoe Brown bettered her own Northern Ireland pole vault record on Sunday with a jump of 4.30m at the AAI National League meeting in Tullamore.
The Antrim athlete set a previous best of 4.26 eight years ago but finally improved on the long standing record.
"When I arrived at the Tullamore track and saw the weather conditions I knew I had to do it," said Brown.
"I'm just so, so happy to have finally got 4.30m. I hope I can jump higher before the end of the season"
