The BBC will provide its biggest ever offering of live athletics action this summer with coverage available on TV, radio, online, mobile and connected TV.
The package includes the World Athletics Championships, Diamond League, European Team Championships and the London Anniversary Games.
There will be more hours of coverage than ever before on the BBC.
Programming will run across BBC One, Two and Three, plus BBC Radio 5 live and 5 live sports extra.
Viewers will also be able to experience the coverage via online and interactive services.
That will include the Red Button, connected TV and live streaming, live text commentaries, news, reports and highlights via the BBC Sport website.
Gabby Logan will present the coverage, including the return to the BBC of the World Athletics Championships in Moscow - which start on 10 August, along with Jonathan Edwards.
Michael Johnson, Steve Cram, Denise Lewis, Paula Radcliffe and Colin Jackson are just some of the other track and field experts regularly contributing to the BBC's TV coverage.
BBC Two and BBC Three will have more action from Diamond League events and there will also be full coverage of the European Team Championships in Gateshead on 22 and 23 June - the first major athletics championship in the UK since London 2012.
There will be live action from the Anniversary Games on 26 and 27 July at the Olympic Stadium on BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Radio 5 live as well as live streaming, news, video and highlights online.
Radio 5 live will also broadcast extensive coverage of Paralympic athletics in 2013 with full commentary of the IPC World Championships from Lyon in July.
Following the summer of sport, the BBC will turn its attention to Gateshead's Great City Games and Great North Run on 14-15 September and Glasgow's Great Scottish Run on 6 October.
The European Cross Country from Serbia, on 8 December, and Edinburgh, in January 2014, follow before the World Indoor Championships from Poland in March 2014 as the build-up continues to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Director of BBC Sport Barbara Slater said: "We're looking forward to channelling the passion and pride seen during London 2012 into a new wave of events set to capture the imagination of a country of athletics lovers.
"We're very proud of the amount of coverage BBC Sport is able to offer audiences, given the athletics calendar, including the exciting London Anniversary Games and the World Athletics Championships."
