Hurdler Jack Green has been forced to withdraw from the Great Britain squad for the World Championships starting in China on Saturday with a severe bout of sciatica., external
The 23-year-old, who took time out in 2013 to recover from depression, had been selected for the 400m hurdles and 4x400m relay.
British Athletics performance director Neil Black said: "I really feel for Jack, who put his all into getting fit, to be struck with another issue unrelated to the previous one."
