Ethiopia's world 10,000m bronze medallist Belaynesh Oljira will compete at the IAAF World Cross County permit meeting at Antrim on 16 January.

Oljira, 25, won world 10,000m bronze in Moscow two years ago, a few months after finishing third at the World Cross Country Championships in Poland.

The Ethiopian was ninth at this year's World Cross Country and also raced at the World Championships in Beijing.

Her team-mate Etagegu Woldu will also compete in the Greenmount event.

Woldu, 19, took bronze in the junior event at this year's World Cross Country Championships in China when she finished only five seconds behind team-mate Letesenbet Gidney.

Etagegu is currently in top form as shown by her recent world junior leading time of 15 minutes and 24 seconds for 5K on the roads.

Oljira finished behind her compatriot Tirunesh Dibaba in the 10,000m final at the World Championships in Moscow two years ago.

Organisers of the Greenmount event will announce further entries in the coming weeks.

Another Ethiopian Fente Alemu won this year's race ahead of Britain's Stephanie Twell.
