The United States finished clear at the top of the medal table at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
They won 16 gold medals and 26 in total - more than double the number in both categories compared to Kenya, who finished second.
It was a disappointing championships for Great Britain as they finished with three silvers and two bronze medals.
It is the first time the British team have not won a gold at a world championships since Paris 2003, and their lowest medal total since Helsinki 2005.
And it follows Budapest 2023 where Britain won 10 medals, their joint most in the history of the championships.

Silver - 3:
Jake Wightman, the 2022 world champion, claimed silver in the men's 1500m.
Amy Hunt won women's 200m silver in her first major final.
Georgia Hunter Bell earned silver in the women's 800m, pipping friend and team-mate Keely Hodgkinson
Bronze - 2:
Two-time world champion Katarina Johnson-Thompson shared the bronze medal position in the heptathlon after finishing on the same number of points as Taliyah Brooks of the United States.
Women's Olympic 800m champion Keely Hodgkinson had to settle for bronze in Tokyo.
