There's a sprint finish between defending champion Alexander Mutiso Munyao and Abdi Nageeye behind for third. We'll have to see what the photo says on that one.

The great Eluid Kipchoge is sixth.

You're so tired at this point but you really want to stockpile these memories.

There will be times in training and other races where you need these moments in your brain.

    They never leave you.

Sawe is still making it look easy.

I know he will be hurting but he still looks controlled. If someone was to appear beside him he still looks like he could lift it that little bit more.

Attention now turns to the men's race where Kenya's Sabastian Sawe holds the lead with five minutes or so to go.

He wasn't one of the big names we were talking about beforehand.

Jacob Kiplimo is 46 seconds behind. He was tipped by many to do something special on his marathon debut.

It doesn't look like the records are in danger here.

Former England cricket captain Sir Alastair Cook is running for the Ruth Strauss Foundation, which was set up by his former team-mate Andrew Strauss, who is also running.

"I don't know what to expect," Cook told BBC Radio 5 Live. "I remember watching it back in the day, trying to run alongside the elite runners lasting about 50m sprinting with them.

"My wife is also running. Everyone we have spoken to about it has said it the most amazing day, the time is irrelevant but then you have the competitive edge as a sportsman. I fully expect to blow up at some stage.

"The training has been so different to what I am used to in cricket. I hope we can raise a bit of money for what is a great cause and hopefully I can run slightly faster than Andrew Strauss."
