    A nice moment here as Great Britain's men's 4x400m relay team have been awarded gold medals for their performance at the 1997 World Championships.

    Roger Black, Iwan Thomas, Jamie Baulch, Mark Richardson & Mark Hylton finished second behind USA 28 years ago, but GB were upgraded to gold after USA's Antonio Pettigrew was found guilty of a doping offence.

    Today the British stars have finally got their gold medals.

    It's the third-fastest time by a British 4x100m team - very impressive indeed.

    Jamaica and France take second and third with 42.50 and 43.54 while the second British team of Nell Desir, Lucy Tallon, Kaya Slater, Mabel Akande take sixth with 43.92.

    Dina Asher-Smith, Amy Hunt, Desiree Henry, Daryll Neita take lane 6, while Nell Desir, Lucy Tallon, Kaya Slater, Mabel Akande are in lane 4.

    Asher-Smith, Hunt and Neita took silver in this event at the 2024 Olympics, running with Imani-Lara Lansiquot.

    It was touch and go on one of the handovers, but they recovered to beat Great Britain to first place.
