'Really important' for Commonwealth Games to go on

Former Commonwealth Games 400m gold medallist Iwan Thomas hopes the Commonwealth Games will survive into the future.

Glasgow will host a stripped-back event in 2026 after original hosts, the Australian state of Victoria, pulled out because of rising costs.

Thomas, who won 400m gold for Wales at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, was speaking after being inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of Fame.
