Charles van Commenee says European Championships not a priority

UK Athletics head coach Charles van Commenee says Britain deliberately took a weak team to Helsinki because of preparations for the London Olympics.

Van Commenee also adds that Dwain Chambers is "likely" to be selected in the Team GB Olympic squad for the 100m on Monday.

The Dutchman says he told Chambers not to compete in his individual event in Helsinki and to concentrate on the relay.
