Jenny Meadows determined to continue athletics career

Former world 800m bronze medallist Jenny Meadows is convinced that she can compete at the highest level again, once she recovers from the injury that will keep her out of action for the rest of the season.

Meadows will miss the World Championships in Moscow after suffering a stress fracture in her thigh bone.

The 32-year-old from Wigan tells BBC Radio Manchester's Delyth Lloyd that she will use the example of Dame Kelly Holmes - who came back from years of injury problems to win two Olympic golds in 2004 - as her inspiration as she battles back to full fitness.
