Mo Farah beaten but sets European 1500m record at Diamond League
Mo Farah produces a strong sprint finish to come second in the 1500m, behind Kenyan Asbel Kiprop, who sets the fastest time of the year with three minutes 27.72 seconds.
Despite not winning, Farah set a new British and European 1500m record of 3.28.81 over a distance he is unused to, telling BBC Sport's Colin Jackson and Gabby Logan "it would have been nice to get closer to Kiprop but he is in a different class".
Farah, whose time broke Steve Cram's 28-year-old British record, won two gold medals at London 2012 in the 5,000m and 10,000m and will again double up at the World Championships in Russia next month.
