Tyson Gay loses on drugs ban return to Justin Gatlin in 100m

American Tyson Gay finishes second to compatriot Justin Gatlin on his comeback from a doping ban in the Lausanne Diamond League 100m.

The 31-year-old had been suspended for 12 months after testing positive for an banned anabolic steroid.

Gatlin won the race in Switzerland with a world-leading time of 9.80 seconds while Gay ran 9.93.
