Britain's Martyn Rooney wins 400m gold at the European Championships, with compatriot Matthew Hudson-Smith taking silver.

The 27-year-old led around the final bend before Hudson-Smith came close to catching him on the final straight.

Donald Sanford claimed bronze for Israel's first track medal at the European Championships.
