Russian doping claims 'alarming', says Jenny Meadows

British 800m runner Jenny Meadows says allegations of systematic doping among Russian athletes are "alarming".

The 2011 European Indoor champion says the claims, made on a German TV documentary, do not "make the sport that credible" - and that, if proved true, they would be "the biggest doping scandal of all time".

The documentary, shown by Das Erste, alleges that as many as 99% of Russian athletes are guilty of doping.

The Russian Athletics Federation (RAF) says the allegations are "lies".
