Jessica Ennis-Hill in World Championship heptathlon lead after six events
Olympic champion Jessica Ennis-Hill looks set reclaim the heptathlon world title she last won in 2009, after two solid performances in the long jump and the javelin.
While fellow Briton and closest challenger on day one Katarina Johnson-Thompson failed to record a distance in the long jump, Ennis-Hill jumped a season's best of 6.43m.
Her longest javelin throw of 42.51m left her 86 points ahead of Dutchwoman Nadine Broersen in second place, which equates to around a six-second buffer when she runs the 800m later on Sunday.
