World Championships 2015: Taylor wins and threatens record

American Christian Taylor wins the triple jump at the World Championships in Beijing with a jump of 18.21 metres, just eight centimetres short of the watching Jonathan Edwards' world record.

Cuba's Pedro Pablo Pichardo jumped 17.73m for the silver medal, with Portugal's Nelson Evora taking bronze with 17.52m.

Edwards was watching on from the commentary position, 20 years on from his record leap in Gothenburg, Sweden.
