Ciara Mageean happy with Belfast run

Portaferry's Ciara Mageean is pleased with a time of 9:07.48 for the 3,000m in her first outdoor race of the season in Belfast.

Mageean, 24, trains in Dublin under coach Jerry Kiernan and plans to compete at the European Championships in June before focusing on the Olympics in Rio.

She qualified for the Olympics last year by running a personal best in the 1500m in Italy.
