Barnes and McCarthy pleased to progress

Belfast boxers Paddy Barnes and Tommy McCarthy are interviewed after winning their opening bouts at the European Championships in Belarus.

Light-flyweight Barnes outpointed Ashley Williams but admitted the Welshman had proved a tough opponent.

McCarthy, a points winner over Finnish heavyweight Tomi Honkr, said he had much more to give as he prepared for his last eight contest on Wednesday.
