Carl Froch pride at Nottingham freeman honour

World boxing champion Carl Froch tells BBC East Midlands Today of his pride at becoming an honorary freeman of Nottingham.

Froch, 37, who beat George Groves in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley in May, grew up in Gedling near the city.

The IBF and WBA super-middleweight champion Carl Froch still hopes to hold his next world title defence in Las Vegas against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and says he will probably retire if the fight does not happen.
