Anthony Crolla: World title fight promo released

A poignant promotional video for Anthony Crolla's cancelled world title fight has been released by Matchroom Boxing, days after he was attacked.

Crolla, 28, suffered a fractured skull and broken ankle while tackling two alleged burglars at his neighbour's home in Chadderton, Greater Manchester.

Trainer Joe Gallagher said Crolla was "lucky to be alive" following the incident and may never fight again.

Crolla was scheduled to challenge Cuba's Richard Abril for the WBA lightweight title on 23 January.
